Navy circle — a vulnerable road user (pedestrian, cyclist, or scooter rider) was struck.
Rust diamond — a vehicle-only crash or other incident on a corridor of interest. No one on foot or bike was hit.
A larger dot marks a fatality; a mid-size dot marks a child victim.
What it does and doesn't claim
Dots sit at the intersection, not the exact point of impact — they're approximate.
VRU strikes are tracked citywide. Vehicle-only crashes are tracked only on Braddock Road and Mount Vernon Avenue, and systematically only since May 2026.
